Here is one more of those unbelievable but true stories. After hurricane Andrew struck south of Miami in 1992, I found a palm tree with a piece of wood that had penetrated it.

A palm tree is made of very tough wood but that did not stop the wood board which was about 1.2m x 12 cm by 2.5cm (4' x 5" x 1").
